Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the Clerk of the Course to deliver an effective and consistent maintenance programme.
- Prepare and reinstate the racing surface before, during, and after events, using tractors, machinery, and specialist equipment.

This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and can be physically demanding, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical, active work.
About you
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in a hands-on, outdoor environment. You’ll have excellent time management and organisational skills, a strong attendance record, and the flexibility to adapt to a varied role that includes unsocial hours. Comfortable working under pressure, you’ll communicate effectively and contribute positively as part of a team, while maintaining high standards in all conditions.
