Hagley Road Retirement Village, part of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, are currently recruiting a part-time Weekend Receptionist.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our friendly team at our Hagley Road Retirement Village and support the village\'s commitment in delivering ExtraCare\'s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details
  • Position: Weekend Receptionist
  • Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Salary: £12.60 per hour (£9,854pa, pro rata of FTE)
  • Contract: Permanent – Part-Time
  • Location: Hagley Road Retirement Village, Birmingham, B17 8BH

What Will You Do As Our Weekend Receptionist
  • Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming manner.
  • Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service.
  • Ensure all visitors & contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy and report any shortfalls.
  • With the Administrator, provide a typing and photocopying service and order stationery on a weekly basis.
  • Set up systems to manage and keep accurate records of meeting room bookings.
  • Take comprehensive messages for members of staff or residents, ensuring they are passed on.
  • Train and guide residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.
