Linear Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Customer Experience Coordinator (TLO) to join a busy team supporting social housing improvement projects across Teesside and Sunderland. This is a temporary contract covering holiday periods across several projects with three social housing providers. The role will run from mid-June until the end of September, with the potential to become permanent (subject to business requirements).
The Role
As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting tenants throughout improvement works being carried out in their homes. This will include projects such as:
- New windows and doors
- Kitchen and bathroom upgrades
- Heating system replacements
- General home improvement works
The role is highly customer-focused and will involve regular face-to-face interaction with tenants in their homes. You will provide clear information about upcoming works, answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure tenants feel supported throughout the process. You will also be responsible for completing digital records and forms using company-provided equipment, including a tablet, laptop, and mobile phone.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. A weekly fuel allowance is also provided.
The Person
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience delivering excellent customer service in a face-to-face environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with tenants and customers
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- A professional and approachable manner
- Access to your own transport
Experience within housing, property services, maintenance, or a similar customer-facing environment would be highly beneficial.
