We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee internal works on social housing schemes across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment and compliance works within occupied and void properties.
The ideal candidate will come from a gas, heating, or internal refurbishment background, with strong experience managing trades and subcontractors within the social housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple housing schemes
- Overseeing internal works including heating, gas, kitchens, bathrooms, and general refurbishments
- Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget
- Managing H&S compliance and site documentation
- Liaising with clients, tenants, and senior management
- Conducting site inspections and quality checks
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing/refurbishment
- Gas/heating background highly desirable
- Strong understanding of internal refurbishment programmes
- SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certified
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
