An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Flooring Customer Care Fitter to join a growing and well-established specialist flooring contractor operating across the North East. Working with some of the UK’s largest house builders, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality remedial and customer care works across new build residential developments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The role
- Carry out customer care remedial works across a range of flooring types
- Liaise with the Customer Care team to coordinate and complete remedial visits
- Conduct site visits to assess reported flooring issues and determine solutions
- Complete remedial works within agreed timescales
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, and internal teams
- Provide technical advice relating to flooring products and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and updates on customer care cases
- Work closely with operational and site teams to ensure smooth delivery of works

- Experience fitting a variety of flooring types including Carpet, LVT, Vinyl, Safety Flooring, and Sub-Floor Preparation
- Strong knowledge of flooring products and installation methods
- Experience working on residential developments or large-scale construction projects preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional and solution-focused approach
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Full UK driving licence required
- CSCS card and relevant flooring qualifications beneficial
