Temporary Works Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join a major construction scheme in Cambois, Northumberland on a freelance basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating temporary works activities across the project, ensuring designs, inspections and installations are properly managed and delivered in line with project requirements, programme and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on site.
- Ensure temporary works are planned, designed, checked and implemented correctly.
- Liaise with designers, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
- Review temporary works designs, calculations and associated documentation.
- Maintain the Temporary Works Register and ensure appropriate approvals are in place.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure temporary works remain suitable throughout the construction process.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and sequencing.
- Ensure all temporary works comply with health, safety and quality requirements.
- Monitor progress and identify any potential issues or risks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Temporary Works Coordinator on major construction projects.
- Relevant construction/civil engineering background.
- Strong understanding of temporary works procedures and processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Relevant temporary works qualifications/training.
- CSCS and relevant site qualifications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
