Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Leeds
Demolition & New Build
Linear Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a project in Leeds on a freelance basis.
The project involves the demolition of an existing factory, followed by the construction of a new-build facility on the site.
The Role:

Managing the commercial aspects of the project from start to completion.

Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets and forecasts.

Subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
-
Managing variations, change control and contractual matters.
-
Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks.

Working closely with the site and project management teams.

Ensuring accurate commercial reporting throughout the project.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

Experience managing commercial packages on demolition and new-build projects would be advantageous.

Strong knowledge of subcontractor procurement, valuations and cost control.

Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage the commercial function effectively.
