The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be at the centre of the commercial operation, contributing to driving performance, cost management, and ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish. You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the creation of a safe, compliant working environment
  • Preparing, negotiating, and managing subcontract packages
  • Overseeing subcontractor performance, valuations, and variations
  • Issuing contractual notices to clients and subcontractors
  • Producing monthly applications, CVRs, and cost reports
  • Working closely with operational and engineering teams to maintain accurate records
  • Attending progress and risk meetings, contributing commercial insight

About You

You'll be a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver results.

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of standard forms of contract
  • Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle)
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
  • Working towards or holding MCIOB/MRICS (desirable)
