They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. This is a key role in supporting the delivery of new-build, refurbishment, and maintenance works across their housing stock, ensuring commercial efficiency, value for money, and contractual compliance. Key Responsibilities- Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects, from inception to completion.
- Oversee procurement, cost control, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Work closely with internal project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure financial efficiency and performance.
- Provide commercial advice and support to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to tender evaluations and contractor negotiations.
- Support junior QS team members with mentoring and guidance.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Background in social housing, residential, or commercial new build/refurbishment projects.
- Will also consider commercial builds or similar experience working for main contractors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
