We are seeking a Mid- or Senior-level Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician with strong UK project experience across residential-led developments, including high-rise residential, student accommodation, Build-to-Rent (BTR), multi-room schemes, and mixed-use developments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering technically complex projects and is looking to take on greater responsibility within a growing team. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, contribute to project delivery standards, and play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale residential schemes.

The Role

You will take a leading role in the technical delivery of residential projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to develop coordinated, compliant, and buildable design solutions from planning through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and production of construction information across residential projects
  • Develop detailed drawing packages and technical solutions for high-rise, student accommodation, BTR, and multi-room developments
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers throughout project delivery
  • Support BIM coordination and maintain high technical standards across projects
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practice within the studio
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Building Safety requirements, and industry standards
  • Assist in managing project programmes, resources, and client expectations
  • Support the successful delivery of projects across all RIBA stages

What We're Looking For

  • Mid- or Senior-level Architectural Technologist / Technician
  • Strong UK experience delivering residential projects
  • Experience working on student accommodation, high-rise residential, Build-to-Rent, multi-room, or mixed-use schemes
  • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
  • Strong Revit and BIM capability
  • Experience producing and coordinating Stage 4 technical packages
  • Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and residential design standards
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Chartered status (MCIAT) desirable but not essential
