Overview
Temporary Works Coordinator required for long-term project in East London.
This is a freelance position and the available payment options are PAYE or Umbrella PAYE.
MUST HAVE TWC ON YOUR CITB RECORD.
Responsibilities
The role entails:
- Deliver technical temporary works solutions in response to the needs of the NOS Projects programme of work.
- Take responsibility for the Temporary Works Coordinator role, process, technical compliance – including checks, quality and appropriateness of solutions delivered.
- Lead design consultants and internal teams to deliver the design solutions to schedule and budget.
- Support the project delivery teams by providing design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements, including provisions/considerations for 3rd parties where necessary.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements, development of specifications, co-ordination of specialist suppliers, management of the TQ process, design change and as-builts.
- Familiar with the TfL/DLR/NR technical approval process for temporary works. Familiar with Autodesk, Bluebeam and Bentley 3D.
Portfolio and project scope
The role will be required to be undertaken across a number of projects within the NOS portfolio.
Qualifications and requirements
- MUST HAVE TWC ON CITB RECORD
- Experience or qualifications including Lifting Operations Supervisor or Appointed Person, along with SMSTS and CSCS.
Additional experience
In addition, the candidate shall have experience in logistic planning including the application of movement orders and design of specific traffic management schemes to support these applications inc. swept path analysis.
