We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a long-term civils scheme in Morpeth. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day supervision of works on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising day-to-day site activities
- Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
- Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site
- Assisting with site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
- Supporting the Site Manager with general site administration and record keeping
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within civil engineering
- Strong understanding of civils construction
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to effectively supervise site teams and subcontractors
