We are working with a company specialising in new build housing developments, who are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee the construction of a new project from the ground up. This is a PERM role.
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the development to maintain and deliver the build programme in accordance with budgets and forecasts
- Full responsibility and control of all site staff and sub-contractors, including labourers, groundworkers, and contractors, ensuring that all employees comply with their Health and Safety standards
- Liaising with management, client, and local authority departments to ensure smooth project delivery
- Timely ordering of materials to ensure the build programme can be achieved
- Ensuring all NHBC inspections are carried out as required
- Conducting handover inspections of properties to customers in accordance with our customer care procedures
- Completing any customer care defects raised as soon as practicably possible
- Actively promoting a culture of safety, progress, quality, and innovation on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager working on new build housing developments
- Extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with site management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid CSCS card
