We are working with a top tier main contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer to play a key role in delivering civil engineering projects within the Water sector on the Yorkshire Water Framework. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of survey control, setting out, and ensuring quality on-site. The Role: You will report to the Site Manager, overseeing technical aspects of construction, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high standards in safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure accurate setting out, levelling, and surveying of sites. * Provide technical support and guidance to subcontractors and site teams. * Manage design documents and ensure compliance with specifications. * Produce ITP check sheets, site diaries, and allocation sheets. * Oversee site security, health, and safety, ensuring regulations are met. * Plan work efficiently, identifying and solving technical challenges. * Work collaboratively with clients, local authorities, and project teams. * Ensure snag-free and defect-free delivery of work. What You Need: * Experience setting out on Civil Engineering projects (drainage, earthworks, structures, or water). * Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, and regulations. * CSCS card and cable avoidance training (essential). * Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred). * AutoCAD experience (advantageous). * Temporary Works Coordination, NEBOSH, or IOSH (preferred).
