Overview
The Role: We\’re looking for a proactive Site Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering projects, including initial work on the Manor Road NOS7 & NOS8 remediation packages for Thames Water. You\’ll be involved from design through delivery, supporting site activities and ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Set out works and establish level/survey control
- Deliver safe, defect-free works in line with drawings and specifications
- Assist in short-term planning, resource management, and project documentation (RAMS, ITPs, site diaries)
- Support preconstruction processes and ensure permits and consents are in place
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and promote best practices in HSQE
Requirements
- Essential: Civil engineering experience in setting out, reinforced concrete, water, drainage, or highways
- Essential: Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
- Essential: Proficient in robotic total stations/EDM and AutoCAD
- Essential: CSCS card, SMSTS
- Essential: Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Desirable: Temporary works coordination
- Desirable: First aid, confined space, cable avoidance, NEBOSH/IOSH
