Overview
A leading national infrastructure delivery business is searching for an experienced Site Agent to join its growing Digital Infrastructure team. This is a critical role focused on the planning and delivery of secure wireless telecoms projects across the UK, with a primary focus on the Radio Access Network (RAN) and defence sectors.
This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in developing the nation\’s critical infrastructure. You\’ll be at the forefront of the industry, managing projects that blend wireless telecoms with complex civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the successful delivery of secure infrastructure projects, with values ranging from £1m to £8m.
- Oversee multiple sites across the UK, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination at the site level.
- Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with all health & safety, quality, and security standards on site.
- Maintain accurate and detailed site records, daily logs, and documentation.
- Ensure all works are carried out in strict accordance with approved risk assessments, method statements, and management systems.
- Manage subcontractor performance and proactively resolve any on-site issues.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all project activities, especially on defence-related projects.
What You\’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar role within the civil engineering, telecoms, or infrastructure sectors.
- A strong, demonstrable understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site compliance.
- Experience in secure environments or MOD projects is a significant advantage.
- The ability to achieve SC-level security clearance is essential; current clearance is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing civil subcontractors delivering works such as:
- Site investigation and surveying
- Perimeter security and fencing
- Ducting and drainage installation
- RC bases and general excavation
- Safe digging practices and utility location
- An outstanding leader who is proactive, hands-on, and possesses excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as project demands require.
