The successful candidate will be a qualified Structural Engineer with proven experience in the design and assessment of water-retaining structures. Key Requirements * Qualified Structural Engineer with relevant professional experience. * Proven experience working with water-retaining structures, such as tanks, reservoirs, water treatment structures, or similar reinforced concrete structures. * Strong knowledge of structural design principles, particularly reinforced concrete. * Ability to undertake structural calculations, design reviews and technical assessments. * Experience working to relevant British Standards and industry requirements. * Strong technical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the wider project team. * Previous experience working on civil engineering or water-sector projects would be advantageous. The Role The successful freelancer will provide structural engineering expertise throughout the project, working alongside the wider design and project team. The role will involve reviewing existing information, developing structural solutions, undertaking calculations and providing technical input as required.
