Linear are working alongside a leading construction consultancy based in Sheffield.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a qualified industry professional with expert knowledge and a high level of experience in construction, contracts and costs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of projects and cover the entire process, from concept design to completion. You will perform the role of Commercial Manager and take responsibility for the end-to-end service delivery of all types of projects including large or complex buildings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary research to evaluate contractors
- Produce regular cost reports
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts
- Prepare tax depreciation schedules
- Carry out site visits and inspections
- Prepare and administer procurement advice, tenders and tender reviews
Qualifications
Previous experience or a sound and suitable understanding of the following will be a distinct advantage in applying for this role:
