An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Designer to join a specialist design team delivering physical and electronic security solutions across major Critical National Infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Working within a collaborative and technically driven environment, you will support the planning, development, and delivery of integrated security systems for complex infrastructure programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while contributing to innovative and value-driven design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support site visits alongside the design team and act as the main contact for subcontract design coordination.
  • Develop electronic security scopes and technical specifications following site surveys and 3D scans.
  • Work closely with subcontract designers to review specifications, pricing, and technical submissions.
  • Manage Technical Queries (TQs) and maintain associated registers.
  • Support tendering and project delivery teams with technical documentation and bid submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with site and office security procedures and support accreditation requirements.
  • Interpret client requirements and develop compliant, secure design solutions.
  • Produce detailed design documentation including layouts, specifications, and more.
