Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and driven Project Architect to lead projects from concept through to completion. This is a key role within the studio, suited to someone with strong design ability, sound technical knowledge, and proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects across all RIBA stages
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery
- Lead discussions and inspire project teams
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to our collaborative studio culture
Requirements:
- ARB-registered Architect (RIBA Chartered status desirable but not essential)
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale commercial projects, ideally within hospitality and/or education sectors
- Proven ability to lead projects across all RIBA work stages
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and sustainable design principles
- Excellent CAD skills (Vectorworks preferred)
- Experience with BIM and 3D visualisation is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with a clear and confident communication style
- Experience in contract administration and Principal Designer duties is beneficial
