We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead our site team and manage the packages and subbies on a major project in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Site Manager looking to take the step up to Project Manager. This is a permanent role, with multiple projects available now and in the pipeline, we are looking for people from a variety of sectors of experience including education, commercial and industrial, leisure, and health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the construction project, from planning to completion.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and work packages to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates and solutions.
- Resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Lead the site team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and drive project success.
- Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or Senior Site Manager in the UK construction industry.
