We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join a busy practice on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of technically complex projects across the Healthcare, Industrial, and Commercial sectors. This role will suit a confident professional who can run projects independently while also providing technical leadership to the wider team.
The Role
- You will take responsibility for the technical design and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- In addition, you will support and mentor junior staff, helping to maintain high technical and BIM standards across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and production of construction information.
- Oversee BIM coordination and maintain technical quality standards.
- Manage project programmes, resources, and client communication.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and best-practice construction solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Chartered MCIAT (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Strong background delivering complex UK projects.
- Proven experience job running across Healthcare, Industrial, and Commercial sectors.
- Advanced Revit skills and solid BIM coordination experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and hit project deadlines.
Contract Details
- Rate: £30–£35 per hour (dependent on experience).
- Contract / freelance engagement.
- Immediate or short-notice start preferred.
- Duration and working pattern to be agreed.
