We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Design Manager to work in their offices in Manchester.
Job Description:
To oversee and manage the design process of construction projects valued up to £10m.
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with project team, clients, architects, engineers and contractors to ensure the design is delivered on time and within budget.
- Co-ordination, design development and management process across multiple projects.
- To be the main point of contact for all design queries throughout the project.
- Manage the approval process and ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained prior to the projects commencing.
Requirements:
- Degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
- Chartered status (e.g. RIBA, ICE, CIOB) or working towards this preferred.
- Previous experience as a Design Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
