As a Sub Agent, you will be responsible for the management of small-value civil engineering and construction sites or assist the Site Agent and Project Manager on larger value schemes, to achieve the required project delivery to the customer’s objectives while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, programme delivery, subcontractors, and project performance
- Interpret drawings/specifications and provide technical support to delivery teams
- Maintain strong client relationships and lead site meetings/reporting
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
- Manage project records, QA documentation, inspections, and cost control
- Promote a positive safety culture and resolve site or resource issues efficiently
About You
Essential
- Strong civil engineering project delivery experience
- Good knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations, programme management, and cost control
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- CSCS, SMSTS, and NEBOSH/IOSH certification
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Water sector experience
- Temporary Works / confined space / service avoidance training
- Working towards CEng, IEng, AMICE, or equivalent
- CPCS Appointed Person qualification
