Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking an experienced Internal Finishing Manager to join a flagship high-rise residential development in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale city centre project, taking responsibility for the internal fit-out and finishing stages through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all internal finishing works from first fix through to completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and programme targets are achieved.
- Oversee the completion of apartments and communal areas, ensuring finishes meet the required specification.
- Carry out quality inspections, snagging and de-snagging works.
- Monitor progress and resolve site issues to maintain programme.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
- Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Design Team and Client representatives.
- Support the commissioning and handover process, ensuring a smooth project completion.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Finishing Manager, Internal Package Manager or Site Manager on residential or mixed-use developments.
- Proven track record delivering high-quality internal finishes on large-scale projects, ideally high-rise developments.
- Strong eye for detail with excellent quality control and snagging experience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
