Our client is a leading main contractor with a strong pipeline of high-profile residential developments across the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced External Package Manager to join the team on a landmark high-rise project in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to oversee the delivery of the building envelope and external works on a large-scale city centre development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all external packages including façade, cladding, roofing, glazing and associated envelope works.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve site issues.
- Chair subcontractor meetings and liaise with the wider project team.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging through to completion.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve key project milestones.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Package Manager, Site Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering external packages on large construction projects.
- Previous experience working on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, cladding and external envelope installations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
