Role: Junior Interior Designer Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per year (dependent on experience) Type: Permanent Location: Surrey We are currently searching for an Junior Interior Designer or Design Assistant to join our clients growing team in Surrey! The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a desire to grow within the industry experience, or an understanding of the luxury residential market. You will be joining a well-respected and innovative studio, working closely with a strong team of interior designers/architects; specialising in luxury residential projects. Our client are well known for their many awards as well as their client-focused service, as they work across a range of high-end private homes, new builds, refurbishments, home cinemas, and more! This is a great opportunity to be joining a small/collaborative team led by the founders and senior designers, but you’ll also need to bring self-motivation and creativity to succeed in this role. The Junior Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite. Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, spatial awareness, and material selection. Creative, passionate about interior design, and eager to learn and develop in the field. Ambitious and motivated, with a drive to grow within the team. Valid driving license. Strong interest in high-end residential interiors, with a keen understanding of current design trends.
