We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing team, focusing on the repair and maintenance of Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs) and related traffic management equipment. This role involves a mix of workshop and field-based work along the M25 motorway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults, repair, and service IPVs, mobile light towers, VMS signs, and mini light arrows.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment modifications.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure stock is managed effectively.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure workshop organisation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide professional customer service and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience with 12/24v electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with HGVs or traffic management equipment (desirable).
  • Forklift licence (essential).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
