We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing team, focusing on the repair and maintenance of Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs) and related traffic management equipment. This role involves a mix of workshop and field-based work along the M25 motorway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults, repair, and service IPVs, mobile light towers, VMS signs, and mini light arrows.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment modifications.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure stock is managed effectively.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for inspections and repairs.
- Ensure workshop organisation and compliance with safety standards.
- Provide professional customer service and collaborate with internal teams.
Requirements:
- Experience with 12/24v electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
- Experience with HGVs or traffic management equipment (desirable).
