If you are passionate about delivering engineering excellence and driving sustainable energy solutions, this is your opportunity to lead a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Scheme (BESS) Design Team. We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our growing programme of BESS projects. You will be at the forefront of innovation, integrating multi-disciplinary teams from across global regions and working closely with clients to deliver future-focused, environmentally-conscious solutions. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for performance across health while shaping a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of BESS design projects from concept through to completion.
- Manage and grow a diverse, multidisciplinary team, setting culture and strategic direction.
- Build strong client relationships and exceed expectations through exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 responsibilities as Principal Designer and Designer.
- Oversee project health and safety, financial performance, and quality assurance.
- Shape and implement people strategies, including recruitment, development, and retention.
- Manage technical delivery across voltage levels from LV.
