Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a specialist infrastructure team delivering technically complex projects, with a strong focus on EV charging infrastructure and secure public-sector sites .
The Contracts Manager will oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of multiple projects, managing obligations, risks and delivery. The role would suit candidates from an M&E, electrical, infrastructure, construction or similar technical background. Some projects may require higher levels of security clearance .
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contractual aspects of projects from award through to completion.
- Review, negotiate and administer contracts and subcontracts.
- Ensure client, contractual and compliance requirements are met.
- Provide contractual support to Project Managers and delivery teams.
- Manage client, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor variations, change control, claims, risks and contract performance.
- Maintain accurate contractual records and reporting.
- Report contractual risks, opportunities and financial performance to senior management.
- Support tenders, bids and framework opportunities.
- Ensure health, safety and compliance requirements are incorporated into projects.
- Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- Support continuous improvement across contract management and project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven Contracts Manager or similar experience.
- Experience in M&E, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, construction, civil engineering or a related sector.
- Knowledge of NEC and other standard forms of contract.
- Relevant degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing contractual risks, variations and claims.
- Competent with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.
- SMSTS or equivalent desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain required security clearance where necessary.
