Job Title: Contracts Manager – New Build Social Housing Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: Competitive + Benefits Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About Us We are a leading provider of high-quality, affordable new build housing, committed to creating sustainable communities across the Yorkshire region. With a strong pipeline of projects and an ambitious growth plan, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and oversee the delivery of multiple new build schemes from inception to completion. The Role As Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple social housing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects meet client requirements and comply with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the delivery of multiple new build housing developments simultaneously. * Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and progress monitoring. * Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety legislation, and quality standards. * Lead and motivate site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. * Liaise with local authorities, housing associations, and internal teams. * Monitor budgets, produce progress reports, and implement cost-control measures. * Resolve site issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain programme targets. About You: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction sector, ideally in new build social housing. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and teams. * Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, and quality management systems. * Commercially astute with strong budget management experience. * Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent; SMSTS; CSCS Black Card desirable).
