Our client is a disruptive innovator within the travel and tourism sector, supported by investment from one of the most successful private equity houses in the UK. The business operates from state-of-the-art premises in Central London, boasting a genuinely pleasant office environment with an on-site break out area, café environment, and gym facilities. The business offers the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, mixing work from home and the office.

Fuelled by further investment and excellent growth potential, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Director to join the senior leadership team and take on a business-critical role in reshaping the IT, technology, and digital function.
The aim is to closely align the provision of IT services and the overall digital stance of the business with the long-term investment runway and growth trajectory. The incoming IT Director will play a proactive role across all areas of the business, with a remit extending beyond just providing IT support.
The IT Director will be expected to participate fully in decision-making and running the business as a whole, supporting commercial decisions and delivering leading-edge technology solutions to meet the needs of the business. The successful candidate will engage with the business as a whole, helping to achieve its goals and objectives.
Ideally, we seek an experienced IT Director or Head of IT with a proven track record in a senior IT management or technology leadership capacity. The successful candidate will need well-developed commercial instincts, as well as the ability to clearly explain complex technology concepts to non-IT people, and vice versa with business concepts to the IT team.
The IT Director will work with the Founder CEO and the senior management team in maintaining shareholder and investor confidence in the business, essential as the high-growth potential business embarks on an ambitious growth phase.
