Head of IT | Fintech |City of London (EC3) | Hybrid Working £85k-£110k + Excellent Package Our client is a London-based Fintech business which provides a platform for connecting small businesses, start-up ventures, and scaling-up enterprises with alternative lenders and private equity investors to access growth finance and working capital quickly. The business uses technology and data insights to match clients with funding sources, transforming access to working capital for ventures which have traditionally been underserved by the banking sector. They now wish to recruit a Head of IT to manage the delivery of technology services. The Head of IT will work in tandem with the business to transform operations, processes and the way IT impacts on the business, with an underlying emphasis on promoting the digitisation and AI agenda whether possible. As Head of IT, you will be critical to the success of the business, working with the CEO and Board, with an expectation of being able to solve business problems and respond to market opportunities by using technology. An example of this is how AI and Machine Learning can be applied to ’speed up’ customer on boarding / KYC and AML processes, as well as matching clients with funding, without compromising on security or regulatory compliance. The Head of IT will lead the IT department, quickly solving business problems, contributing to the delivery of slick customer experiences and introducing ‘game changing’ new technology to support the business as it expands beyond the UK and into European markets.
