We’re now looking for an ambitious Team Leader to join our coldstore operation. This is an ideal opportunity if you’re looking to take the next step in your career and lead a team in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
Shift Available: Mon > Fri, 2pm to 10pm.
Rate of Pay: £17.20 per hour.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring performance, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations in the coldstore, including the pick operation — prior experience in picking processes is essential.
- Manage shift plans and resource allocation to keep workflows smooth and on schedule.
- Monitor inbound/outbound movements, stock accuracy, and product integrity.
- Operate and coordinate with material handling equipment (MHE), resolving any issues promptly to avoid downtime.
- Maintain clear and open communication across departments, supporting continuous improvement and high team morale.
- Address employee concerns, contribute to team development, and ensure a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a coldstore or temperature‑controlled environment.
- Proven experience with pick operations within a warehouse/logistics setting.
- A proactive and confident approach to leadership, with a passion for team development.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support weekend operations when required.
- Fluency in English and good attention to detail.
