We are currently looking for a Shift Controller to join our operations team in Gloucester.
Shift Pattern Available: 4 on 4 off – Nights 18:00–06:00.
Salary: Competitive starting salary.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, support, and coordinate the shift team with professionalism.
- Ensure efficient and accurate inbound and outbound stock flow.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to maintain service and productivity standards.
- Monitor WMS, resolve anomalies, and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor and manage employee holidays, absence, and basic performance management.
- Allocate workloads effectively and support resource planning.
- Communicate clearly with Operators, Planners, Engineers, and Client Liaison teams.
- Liaise professionally with customers and transport partners to resolve issues.
- Lead structured shift handovers to maintain continuity.
- Promote and maintain strong Health and Safety standards.
