We’re currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Operative to join our warehouse team at our Portbury – Bristol facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks including (but not limited to) loading and unloading stock onto HGVs, running pallets through our warehouse, using MHE such as Counterbalance and Reach Trucks, and supporting general warehouse operations. For this role you will need to have FLT experience.

Available shifts: Monday - Friday 14:00-22:00

Rate of pay: £15.18 per hour, plus a night shift allowance of £20.00 per week, paid weekly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operating material handling equipment to load and unload customer orders and move stock around the warehouse.
  • Accurately checking and recording goods in and out of the facility.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Verifying delivery batches to ensure correct quantities and materials.
  • Weighing or counting stock to meet distribution standards.
  • Reporting any damages or discrepancies to inventory control.
  • Working in a cold environment (around -25°C – PPE provided to keep you warm and safe).
  • Following all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in loading/unloading and using material handling equipment (e.g., power pallet trucks, Counterbalance FLT, and Reach Truck) is preferred.
  • Physically fit – able to lift weights of up to 18kg.
  • A team player with clear and confident communication skills in English.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn – full training is provided.
