The Role

As an Inventory Control Technician, you'll split your time between our office environment and our cold-store warehouse (around –18°C). Fully equipped with PPE, you'll play a key role in ensuring our inventory is accurate, traceable, and ready to move.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting daily cycle counts and maintaining accurate physical and digital inventory records.
  • Managing data across ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping processes.
  • Ordering and monitoring materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels.
  • Keeping inventory, purchasing, and shipping records accurate and up to date.
  • Reviewing purchase orders, invoices, and accounting data to ensure stock integrity.
  • Identifying replenishment needs and assessing stock discrepancies or damages.
  • Investigating shrinkage and resolving inventory adjustments.
  • Verifying product information, pallet IDs, and authorised substitutions to ensure outbound accuracy.
  • Supporting full physical inventories and recommending the disposal of obsolete or damaged stock.
  • Safely operating warehouse material-handling equipment in line with all policies and safety procedures.

Who We're Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have previous experience in inventory or stock control.
  • Are familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or eager and willing to learn.
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable with data-driven tasks.
  • Bring strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Are comfortable working in a cold-store environment (full PPE provided).
  • Have your own transport for daily travel to site.
  • Experience using material handling equipment preferred although a willingness to be trained on all MHE including Reach Trucks is a must for this role.

What's in it for me?

  • A permanent opportunity with a direct employer; we will not employ you through an agency.
  • Opportunity to develop a career within an industry leading global company.
  • Opportunity to earn an additional day of annual leave each year, up to the maximum of one extra week.
  • Free onsite car park.
  • Support your emotional well-being with access to a 24/7 employee assistance phone line offering confidential free counselling and advice.
  • Preferential rates for loans and savings offered through exclusive access to a credit union.
