We’re currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Multi‑Skilled Operative to join our warehouse team at our Portbury – Bristol facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment to load and unload customer orders and move stock around the warehouse.
- Accurately check and record goods in and out of the facility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Verify delivery batches to ensure correct quantities and materials.
- Weigh or count stock to meet distribution standards.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to inventory control.
- Work in a cold environment (around –25°C) while wearing provided PPE.
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in loading/unloading and using material handling equipment (e.g., power pallet trucks, counterbalance FLT, and reach truck) is ideal but not essential.
- Physically fit – able to lift weights of up to 18kg.
- Team player with clear and confident communication skills in English.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn – full training is provided.
