Overview
Lineage is the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics. We store, prepare, and move food-based products for a wide range of customers — from major retailers to schools, hospitals, and restaurants.
To meet growing customer demand, we are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative (MSO) to join our team at our Grimsby facility.
Shift available: Monday – Friday rotating 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Rate of pay: £14.26 per hour plus a shift allowance of £20.00 per week, paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (High Reach Truck, PPT, CB) to load, unload, and move customer orders within the warehouse.
- Perform physical handballing of stock as needed.
- Accurately check and record product information for inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Book in and despatch stock to the highest standards, including accurate temperature checks to ensure food safety.
- Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure proper intake and despatch procedures are followed.
- Utilise warehouse management and automated storage systems.
- Work in subzero environments (as low as -20°C).
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment; report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate effectively with site teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating material handling equipment: Power Pallet Truck (PPT), Counterbalance (CB), and Reach Truck (RT).
- Reasonable level of physical fitness.
- Confidence in driving warehouse equipment in a cold store environment.
- Previous experience in a warehousing or coldstore setting.
