Shift: Monday‑Friday 06:00‑14:00
Salary: £28,470 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration.
- Manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products.
- Order shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory levels.
- Update inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other records.
- Collect data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
- Determine stock supply levels and identify the need for replenishment.
- Investigate damages, inventory adjustments and shrink issues.
- Ensure correct product ID usage, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
- Verify stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes and other listed information using catalogues, manuals, product lists and references to ensure accuracy in shipping orders.
- Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move products, ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stock control.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); Connect & SAP AS400 desirable.
- Computer literate, confident with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Confident communicator, able to work well within a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a cold environment.
- Own transport to commute to site each day.
