We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Control Clerk to support increasing customer demands based at our site located in Hamshall.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30
Hourly rate: £13.32
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep good in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using SAP AS400 WMS.
- Put together data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
- Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
- Find product to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
- Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook & sometimes telephone.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience of stock control.
- Previous experience of warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP AS400 system is desirable but not essential, a willingness to learn is a must as these systems can be taught.
- Computer literate, i.e., a confident user of all Microsoft packages & Outlook.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Confident communicator both face to face and over the telephone.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
