HGV Class 2 Driver - Days

HGV Class 2 Driver – Transport Division, Hams Hall

We are recruiting for two additional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Transport division located in Hams Hall.

Working hours: Monday to Friday Days (start times between 4:00am – 6:00am)

Hourly Rate: £ per hour paid weekly. Hours over 39 per week are paid at time and a half.

Preferable experience: Multi-drop, tail lift, and pump truck operation. Must be fit and able.

Role Responsibilities

• Support Transport Managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain vehicle legality and roadworthiness, report defects.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries safely and timely.
• Complete manual and pump truck work.
• Drive safely and legally, within tachograph and driver hour limits.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and checked with customers.
• Monitor vehicle servicing and MOT schedules.
• Maintain DCPC training hours within five-year period.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 2 license and driving experience.
• Full Digi-Tacho, DQC card, and Driver CPC.
• Good driving skills, knowledge of Road Transport Regulations, comfortable with night shifts.
• Numerical accuracy, attention to detail, operation of tail lift and PPT.
