We are currently recruiting for an additional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Transport division located at our Portbury – Bristol depot.
Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday Days – No tramping.
Hourly Rate: £15.01 per hour paid weekly.
Overtime after 39 hours each week is paid at time and a half.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times – all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.
What are we looking for?
Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC.
Previous Class 1 driving experience.
Someone who can lift up to 18kg.
You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
