We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our site in Heywood.
Location: Heywood
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights, 19:00 - 07:00
Salary: £37,384 per annum inclusive of shift allowance

We’re now looking for an ambitious Team Leader to join our coldstore operation. You'll lead a team of hardworking warehouse operatives, creating a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring every order is dispatched accurately and on schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring performance, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations in the coldstore, including the pick operation — prior experience in picking processes is essential.
- Manage shift plans and resource allocation to keep workflows smooth and on schedule.
- Monitor inbound/outbound movements, stock accuracy, and product integrity.
- Operate and coordinate with material handling equipment (MHE), resolving any issues promptly to avoid downtime.
- Maintain clear and open communication across departments, supporting continuous improvement and high team morale.
- Address employee concerns, contribute to team development, and ensure a safe working environment.

- Previous experience working in a coldstore or temperature-controlled environment.
- Proven experience with pick operations within a warehouse/logistics setting.
- A proactive and confident approach to leadership, with a passion for team development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support weekend operations when required.
- Fluency in English and good attention to detail.
