Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, the Junior Financial Analyst will support the Warehousing FP&A Team with analysis, forecasting, and reporting across the P&L and key performance metrics. The role requires strong Excel and PowerBI skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis covering all areas of P&L and key performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of business plans and forecasts.
  • Track plans and performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop strong relationships with operating leaders, serving as a robust link between operations and finance.
  • Drive financial results through data analysis, including variance analysis and development of financial models for decision support.
  • Produce weekly KPI reporting and detailed analyses for various stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate financial information for stakeholders across the business.
  • Willingness to travel where necessary and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Proficiency in Excel (must have) and PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a self‑starter attitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and seek help when needed.
  • Positive, inquisitive mindset with a commercial awareness and a commitment to integrity.
  • Experience in financial modelling and a desire to develop within the role.
  • Desire to pursue or currently studying toward a finance/accountancy qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
