To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to pick products from our Ambient warehouse, preparing for these items to be distributed to our customers. Due to limited public transport, you must have your own transport to NG22 8TX.
Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday 17:00-01:00
£13.32 per hour plus £55.00 per week night shift allowance, paid weekly.
The role:
- Get a lot of exercise being on your feet all day and walking around our warehouse; the job is quite physical, and you will need to lift items such as boxes of food and bottles of drinks.
- You will do this in our Ambient warehouse.
- You will need to be able to communicate well with other team members and our Voice system headsets to know what orders to pick.
- Pick products using a voice-controlled headset.
- Record the amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory.
- Communicate damaged products to the inventory team, or your supervisor.
- We are working in a safety conscious environment, and you will need to follow safety procedures at all times.
Who we're looking for:
- Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time.
- Things are heavy so you will need to lift a maximum of around 18kg - 25kg (that’s over 10 bags of sugar).
- You will need to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
- You will be trained to use some of our MHE to assist you with your role, such as a walk-along electric pallet truck.
