Are you a hands-on, proactive leader with a passion for keeping things moving? We're looking for a Team Leader to work alongside and report to the shift manager, assisting with overseeing our warehouse operation. Ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient stock flow through the warehouse. If you're ready to take ownership, lead a small team, and make a real impact in a fast-paced logistics environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end operation, ensuring stock moves quickly and accurately, with minimal delays.
  • Team Leadership & Engagement - Motivate, coach, and support a small team. You'll set the tone for the shift, fostering a culture of ownership, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Operational Management - Stay on top of stock levels, warehouse organisation, and inventory accuracy. Tackle operational issues before they become problems.
  • Planning & Scheduling - Develop daily shift plans, allocate tasks, and keep everything running to schedule — even when the unexpected happens.
  • Effective Communication - Keep your team aligned with priorities, changes, and safety updates throughout the shift.
  • WMS Monitoring - Perform regular checks using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to catch and fix stock discrepancies early.
  • Housekeeping & Safety - Drive high standards of cleanliness and safety during the night shift — setting the example and ensuring compliance.
  • Cross-Shift Collaboration - Work closely with other team leaders and departments to ensure a smooth handover and consistent performance across all shifts.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in warehouse operations, ideally with exposure to fast-moving logistics environments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability, with confidence in managing time-sensitive tasks and shifting priorities.
  • WMS experience — you're comfortable using systems to monitor and manage inventory.
  • Resilience under pressure — you’re calm, solutions-focused, and quick-thinking when challenges arise.
  • MHE licence is a plus, but not essential.

What's in it for me?

  • A permanent opportunity with a direct employer; we will not employ you through an agency.
  • Opportunity to develop a career within an industry leading global company.
  • Opportunity to earn an extra day of annual leave each year, up to the maximum of one extra week for length of service.
  • Free onsite car park.
  • Support your emotional well-being with access to a 24/7 employee assistance phone line offering confidential free counselling and advice.
  • Preferential rates for loans and savings offered through exclusive access to a credit union.
