We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Clerk at our Portbury, Bristol facility. We are currently implementing a new WMS. The successful candidate must have previous experience of Warehouse Inventory Control and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep goods in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using our WMS.
- Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
- Find products to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
- Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook & sometimes telephone.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience of stock control.
- Previous experience of warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Connect & AS400 system is desirable.
- Computer literate, i.e., a confident user of all Microsoft packages & Outlook.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Confident communicator both face to face and over the telephone.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to drive to site in your own vehicle.
