Rate of Pay: £15.61 per hour (Time and a half for hours over 39 per week)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times – complete daily checks and report any defects.
- Verify that the correct goods are loaded and securely fastened before departure.
- Perform trunking and multi‑drop deliveries timely and in compliance with the law, including drivers’ working time regulations.
- Confirm deliveries with customers, provide a courteous service, and obtain required signatures and paperwork before returning to the depot.
Qualifications
- Valid C+E driving licence, in‑date DigiTacho and CPC.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Capability to lift up to 18 kg.
- Clear communication in English with team members.
