We are currently recruiting for a Stock Office Supervisor reporting directly to the General Manager, to join our Team located at our Holmewood depot – Tupton Way, Holmewood, Derbyshire S42 5BX., * Manage all day-to-day activities of Goods in, order processing, booking diary and stock control.

  • Update Workday and Dayforce.

  • Direct and coordinate physical inventory checks.

  • Develop and manage inventory control procedures.

  • Manage the Queries inbox for inventory needs, recalls, questions and possible issues.

  • Recommend appropriate action for excess or damaged stock.

  • Arrange cover and authorise holidays as required.

  • Lead and motivate the team.

  • Examine systems and controls and provide recommendations for improvement of stock office procedures and practices.

  • Experience of Inventory Control in a warehousing and/or distribution environment.

  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages – Word, Excel and Outlook experience is essential.

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

  • Experience of supervising a team.

  • Experience of dealing with customers, customer queries and customer audits.
